The "Power BI and Data Analytics for Enviros" meetup group is all about sharing tips, tricks and hacks for analysing, visualising and communicating environmental data. The purpose of this blog is to summarise the key take-aways from the sessions, to help with sharing knowledge, empowering others and creating a strong data culture across our community.
October 2023: Session summary
In this two-part session, we had have Peter Schmidt (Maptaskr) presenting on Maptaskr for Geospatial Intelligence. Peter demonstrated Maptaskr’s mapping & geo-productivity solution for the Microsoft BizApps platform showcasing how it streamlines business processes, drives operational intelligence and complements Power BI analytics.
We then had Alice Drummond (DiscoverEI) deep-dive into the world of the ArcGIS mapping visual for Power BI, explaining her tips, tricks and limitations based on real-world experiences with trying to implement the visual in Power BI reports.
